User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140314220517
Steps to reproduce:
Subscribe to the Dutch holiday calendar http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/caldata/DutchHolidays.ics on an Android-based telephone
Actual results:
Various different apps do not want to load that ics file due to an incorrectly formatted date value: spec is year-month-day in 4-2-2 format but there is a 4-1-2 date. This is the occurrence: VALUE=DATE:2010828
Expected results:
Actual subscription for that file and see it in the Agenda app because it should not contain such errors against the spec.
By the way: Lightning itself and all iPhones and iPads I installed it on did not protest.

I can confirm that the calendar
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/caldata/DutchHolidays.ics
has 3 dates with wrong format, exactly at lines 75,76 and 148 of the ics file and, according to many ics validators on the web, is not a valid calendar.
Lightning imports the calendar and shows all the events except the first one with both the wrong dates (start date and end date at lines 75 and 76). Instead shows correctly the second event with the wrong end date (line 148).
Henk, it seems that the calendar you attached corrects only the first date (line 75), could you provide a calendar with all the three dates corrected?

User 'Decathlon' mentioned in his first comment that there are 3 date errors in the currently official file.
After having corrected the first error in my first attachment I now corrected the other two as well. This attachment is the one with the three corrections.
