BeOS specific spinoff of bug 82720. ------- Additional Comments From Christopher Seawood 2001-07-23 20:18 ------- Just FYI, this problem is very prominent in BeOS builds. With a trunk BeOS build from this morning, I am completely unable to render the bugzilla query page. With a 0.9.2 build from this afternoon, the query page renders and is usable but the Bug List page is truncated. If I turn off the mem & disk cache in both builds and hit reload repeatedly, sometimes the page renders correctly, other times it's truncated and sometimes it just shows the page source instead of rendering it. ------------ I haven't seen the page source problem recently but the page not loading completely problem happens usually within 10-15 minutes of casual browsing.
I have just started to notice this, as well. I just got a cable modem. I was using a 28.8k modem before. With the slower connection, I never noticed the problem. Many other BeOS users have told me about this problem, but I never saw it. Now that I have a faster connection, I too am experiencing the problem. This leads me to think that this is a timing issue. Where would be a good place to start looking into this?
I can confirm this as well. cnn.com does it almost every time - the top half loads, but you can only scroll down a few lines, as the bottom of the page has been cut off. Running under BONE/7a for reference.
This bug is currently marked for Networking:HTTP, but downloads are also affected. Should this be marked just "Networking"?

Added note: It appears that this is not just related to the net_server builds, but happens under BONE as well.
This has been fixed by the checkin for bug 71697.
