From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv 0.9.2) Gecko/20010726 Netscape6/6.1 BuildID: 2001091821 (Don't believe my UA String) I try opening an attachement (a simple text file) and I find that if there is no navigator window open, it will open a new navigator window but will not display the contents of the attachment. If there is a navigator window open, it will open the attchment in that window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close all navigator Windows and have just Mail/News open. 2. Open a Mail/News message with a text file attachment 3 [details] [diff] [review]. Click on the attachment. Actual Results: New blank Window gets created Expected Results: New Window with attachment displayed. Additional Info: Clicking on a URL link works fine. New Window opens up with the URL.
fyi.. this also happens while opening .html attachments. P.S. Whats up with Bugzilla? Why did it create a link in my bug report to some wierd bug fix attachment?

hwaara: CTRL-U has the same behaviour. Works in POP3, Local folders but not IMAP. In fact, CTRL-U opens up a blank page even when other navigator windows are open.
clarification: Ctrl-U for any IMAP message not just messages with attachments is broken. (opens blank window)
Right. I am still looking into it.
Could this be related to bug 100244? I think 100244 is a dup of this bug.
Works in 2001091708 but doesn't work in 2001091821. SO this bug got introduced sometime inbetween these two builds.
This only happens for IMAP messages. POP3 and Local Folders work fine.
