Hi,
I'm not sure if this is a Lightning bug or a Google one, but it'll probably be easier to fix it this side of the fence. It also applies if the calendar is subscribed via CalDAV.
Basically, if you create an event from Android, the event itself is shown in Lightning as tentative, while on the web interface it isn't. I think I've understood the problem: Lightning creates an event that you own, while the Android app creates an event whose owner is the owner of the account I believe, and then it automatically set it to "I will participate", but Lightning doesn't read this last information (probably because the calendar owner is handled differently in Lighting) and leave the event as tentative.
I'm attaching four screenshot. They're in Italian, but should be clear enough. One is how the events appear in Lightning, one in the web interface of GCal. One is the details of the event created with Android (some translations: "Chi" is "Who", "Ci vai?" is "Will you participate?" and "sì/forse/no" is "yes/tentative/no"), one the details of the event created in Lightning. As you can see, the one created from Lightning doesn't have the whole invitation part, because you are the owner I believe.
Is there any way to solve this from our side?

Probably has to do something with https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=22326 (I only know this because I was annoyed about this some months ago as well) The same thing happens with CalDAV.

There has been a major rewrite of the Provider for Google Calendar between version 0.32 and 1.0. A vast number of bugs have been fixed during this rewrite, therefore I am closing lots of old bugs that I think might either be fixed or no longer apply to the latest version.
Please read the updated FAQ [1] for details on known issues. If you can reproduce your issue with the latest version of the Provider for Google Calendar and you can't find an existing bug that handles your case, please reopen this issue.
Thank you for your understanding.
