I think this depends on bug #1002897, so we need a re-test after bug #1002897 resolved.

Hopefully https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1005763 which a blocker may help here.

Leaving this with Dominic who is working on a possible resolution for bug #1002897
Once we have that patch ready, we can test this case too along with that patch.

I think since music app is paused in background, it should be one of the inactive apps and a candidate for LMK to kill, so on tarako this should be expected that an inactive app will be killed silently if memory is needed.
Marvin, do you think this scenario is the same as we paused the music in background without locking the screen? thanks.

Agree, I don't think this should be a blocker or issue for 1.3T. if a user make the music paused and lock the phone or launch whatever app in foreground, we (or LMK) should kill the music if we need juices.

Closing this, since it's Tarako-only. Feel free to reopen if you think it's still important.
