From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091303 When loading the page specified by the URL above, Mozilla redraws the screen several times, which causes the page to flicker. I believe this was introduced in 0.9.4 - I don't remember this happening in 0.9.3. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter "http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/2001/37.htm" in the address field. 2. Click the "Go" button, or press enter 3. Watch the page load. Actual Results: The page flickers as it is loading. Expected Results: The page should not flicker as it is loading.
over to layout. looks like we reflow a _lot_ on this page... partially because the server gives us data pretty slowly.

Confirming issue described under Sept 17th build. Tested under Mac OS X and Windows ME.

I see it too, on a new build, but NS6.1 looks smooth as ice. regression? Also, it looks like we do worse than reflowing a lot, the whole screen is cleared out each time, then repainted. Definitely need to dig in and figure out what is happening here. Also, are there other pages the do this? This page looks pretty simple, albeit long.

It appears to load smoothly on Linux.
with 6.2 release on WINNT it flashes 4-5 times before completing the load.
