The test (1] sets a retry value of 3s and checks that the browser retries the connection after that time. It seems that occasionally (maybe 1 time in 4 or so) gecko fails to retry and the test times out. [1] http://w3c-test.org/eventsource/format-field-retry.htm
So far I haven't managed to reproduce.
On my computer it seems to fail somewhere between one time in 4 and one time in 10. On infrastructure (running from a local webserver of course) it is maybe more often than that?
