When putting the cursor over icons (like bookmark, home, australis menu) the hover effect is bad: lighter pixels appear over the icon and don't disappear afterwards. It gets worse when you put on a lightweight theme with a picture in the background.
I tested with a brand new profile (deleted my profile and let aurora create a new one) and it still happens.
The screenshot shows the private browsing icon but it does not matter, happens also on a normal window.
Sometimes, it does not happen immediately. You have to add a new tab and hover some icons. It may not last and disappear and it won't happen again. Just open a new tab and it happens again.

Can you reproduce this on other machines, and/or have you tried turning hardware acceleration off? It looks like a graphics glitch of sorts...

It's my only machine with windows 7, a simple dell desktop computer. Not even sure it even has a hardware acceleration feature (or if I can turn it off if there is one). The graphic card is an intel 4 series internal chipset.
I will check on MacOS tonight, but I'm almost sure there's no bug like this one.

The Graphics section in about:support will tell you.

Options > Advanced > Browsing > [_] Use hardware acceleration when available

Thank you... I was looking into windows config. So it's enabled

So I turned it off and no change, the glitches are still present. It seems that it's worse when the arrows are triggered in the tab bar: too much tabs for the window width.

In fact, you have to restart aurora for the graphic acceleration pref change to be effective. I did not think of that.
So it's okay:
- graphic acceleration = on => glitches
- graphic acceleration = off => no glitch
It looks like it's indeed a graphic glitch like Gijs suggested

OK. Can you open "about:support" (just type this into the URL bar without the quotes and hit enter / click go), copy the raw about:support data to the clipboard, and add it as an attachment: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=1006497&action=enter (you can click the "paste text as an attachment" link) ?
