Hi Enrique,

Galician is one of the high priority locales on our roadmap.  Marketplace is now supporting both desktop, Android and FFOS.  Looks like you are the only person working on it, please focus on the first three components first and gradually completing the rest.

The original file format is GetText (.po), and all those projects live on Github.

If you don't want to use Verbatim to translate, I'd suggest to use it anyway to manage files and commit: you can download the source file in po, upload it when you're done, and then commit. Please note that these files are updated quite frequently, so you risk to have some conflicts.

Commit from Verbatim go through directly, pull requests don't.

Missing p2 and p4. I think that p2 will be finished soon. But p4 is very large.


What priority has this project (p4)? I wanted updating Firefox Desktop.

Hi Enrique, 

Thank you for making progress.  Since you started this,  there has been a few development with the product.

Check out the status page and they are arranged in the order of priority: http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~flod/mpstats/.

Marketplace (zamboni) (or used to be No. 4) has a lot of important strings, like categories.  If you can't complete it all, at least find those strings and get those done.

All of these components are part of the Marketplace product. Zamboni used to have a lot more strings. The development team has taken it a part so it is more manageable.  All your work will serve both desktop and the phones.

Hello Enrique,

I am closing this bug for now, even though please continue your work.  We can enable the desktop version when the completion across the board is over 75%.  Please keep in mind that there is no code freeze or version, or branching for Marketplace like Gaia.  There are constant feature development, thus even if you finished a component, you may see new strings added a month or two later.  Do check back on a regular basis and work on these.
