In settings, sign out of Firefox Accounts (if signed in)
Run the Firefox Accounts to sign in
Problem 1. Type in your e-mail address, but before finishing touch off the field. The keyboard that comes up overlaps the e-mail field.
Go to the next screen in order to enter the password.
Problem 2. Try to check the "Show password" box; a number of attempts failed to show it checked.
-----------
Forget the whole thing and start with a fresh phone, but more to the point, go through FTE and run the same workflow as above to setup Firefox Accounts during the FTE.
Problem 1 is not observed.
Problem 2 is observed.

No-Jun - Can you triage this into the relevant FxA tracking bug?

By the way, Nexus 4, but I wasn't sure if it's device specific.

I think Problem 2 might happen across the Settings app, and not specific to FxA, because when this happens, if you go to other menus under settings and check/uncheck the checkbox the same thing can be observed.
I believe tchung filed a bug for this issue. Tony, could you confirm?

i couldnt reproduce this after rebooting. prior to rebooting, i could confirm this problem was happening in settings > wifi > show password. So i wasnt see thing as a FxA problem only ,but a general keyboard management/touch issue.

There's another bug open right now that might be related: when the FxA dialog is opened in FTU, then in Settings, it appears too tall for the page. This looks like a layout/reflow issue.
The layout code belongs to System, but it's possible that we are not using the SystemDialog / LayoutManager code properly. Hopefully when 994725 is fixed, this will be fixed with it.
However: I don't have a nexus 4, so, I'll ni? :milan when the other bug lands, to see if this bug is fixed as well. If not, maybe we will reassign to the WindowMgmt component. For now, let's wait and see.

Hey Milan - So, bug 994725 has been fixed. Would you mind trying to see if that fix has fixed your nexus bug, too?

With trunk, 2014/05/20 04:02:03, it's still there, Git commit 8a2352d5. I'll wait another day and try it.

Works for me with 20140521 04:02:03 nightly. Guess it was a dupe of bug 994725.
