.pe sends desktop site to Firefox OS, can't play video
This site intends to send mobile browsers to a mobile site, but doesn't know that Firefox OS devices are smartphones. Hence the browser on Firefox OS phones get desktop content instead of mobile. The main page looks somewhat messy (the layout itself is quite fluid - which is good - so it adapts pretty well to the screen, but some elements look more jumbled up compared to the mobile version). If you go to a page with a video feature, the desktop version of the site fails to play the video on the mobile device. I guess it uses Flash to play video. On the mobile site, video works fine. To solve these problems, it's important to send Firefox OS smartphones the mobile site rather than the desktop site. The HTTP traffic analysis below shows how the sniffing works: Firefox Android redirected to http://m.depor.pe/movil, Firefox OS not redirected Selected HTTP response headers: Response for: 'Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:18.1) Gecko/18.1 Firefox/18.1' Response Status: 200 content-length: 0 content-type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Response for: 'Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:26.0) Gecko/26.0 Firefox/26.0' Response Status: 301 content-length: 0 location: http://m.depor.pe/movil content-type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

Firefox OS now gets something that looks like a more responsive desktop site. It's still a bit different from the one other mobile browsers get..
m.depor still works better. Scrolling on the responsiveish desktop site is janky on device, and while videos play you only get 1/3rd of the picture on screen and can't scroll sideways to see all. (Maybe rotating would help but it's an annoying workaround). Reopening. We need to either get the m.depor version by default, or the responsive layout needs to include responsive video players and preferably also be a bit simpler and lighter.
