This site intends to send mobile browsers to a mobile site, but doesn't know that Firefox OS devices are smartphones. Hence the browser on Firefox OS phones get desktop content instead of mobile. The HTTP traffic analysis below shows how the sniffing works: Firefox OS redirected to http://www.mastercard.com/index.html, Firefox Android redirected to http://m.mastercard.com/country.html Selected HTTP response headers: Response for: 'Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:18.1) Gecko/18.1 Firefox/18.1' Response Status: 302 content-length: 220 location: http://www.mastercard.com/index.html content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Response for: 'Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:26.0) Gecko/26.0 Firefox/26.0' Response Status: 301 content-length: 244 location: http://m.mastercard.com/country.html content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1

You can use this letter template or tweet: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Compatibility/StdLetters and also include this URL: http://webcompat.com/simplebug/index.html#mozilla/1008883 to give the site's webmaster a quick overview of the bug. If you contact the site, please assign the bug to yourself and change "[contactready]" to "[sitewait]" in the box named "Whiteboard" (ask me if you can't change it). Thank you!

Looks like it's in the right hands now. Will wait to see if a fix comes in. "Hi Adam, Thanks for reaching out. Our IT group will address, but I do appreciate you flagging."

mastercard.com redirects to local sites, each of these sites have different design and settings. For example in Japan Firefox for Android receives the desktop site http://www.mastercard.co.jp/home/index.html but Chrome too. In USA https://www.mastercard.us/en-us.html Firefox OS, Android receives the mobile site. I will close this bug as INVALID. And people might want to open individual bugs depending on the country Web site.
