Details

Using identical test cases and test files to those we use on device testing (Hamachi, Flame, etc), the Video app fails to recognise the video files. OGG, OGV and WebM files from the same test suite work fine. The test files are: VID_OOO1.mp4 VID_0001.3gp https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/tree/master/tests/python/gaia-ui-tests/gaiatest/resources STR: 1. Download/push the files to space that desktopb2g accesses on your computer 2. Load desktopb2g 3. Load Video app Actual: "Add videos to get started" screen is shown :( BuildID: 20140507170738 Gaia: 2.0 Gecko: 32.0a1 There is no regression range as this is the first time I've run these tests on desktop b2g.
This seems to work for me at least for the .mp4 file. In bug 1159352, I'm changing the used .mp4 file, but it also works for the old .mp4 file being used. I'll investigate this and see if we can enable these for b2g desktop.
