From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091303 Minimize components (address bar, navigation toolbar) by using the arrows provided to the left of those items. Close that broswer. Reopen mozilla with the same profile (does not affect other profiles) View menu.. Show/Hide.. all items are "on" but won't display. I lost my navigation toolbar and address bar on two profiles now. :( Once not knowing and once reproducing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Minimize (hide) location and address bar 2.Close Browser (I'm assuming all components as well, mail, etc) 3.Reopen browser. Actual Results: Location bar and address bar missing, status bar is still active. In the view menu, show hide submenu, all items are checked. I have attempted to turn them all off, restart the browser to get them back but this did not work either. Expected Results: Let me have my address bar back. Navigation bar should be available at all times as well.

To workaround: Click on a link that opens in a standard new window (target=_new) That window will have navigation and address toolbar. Close the parent window (the one without the toolbars) Then close the new window. Restart mozilla and the toolbars will be back.
Another workaround is to exit mozilla (also terminate the quickstart if you use that), then edit .mozilla/Default/<salt>/localstore.rdf and modify all occurances of moz-collapsed="true" to moz-collapsed="false" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 73064 ***
