While working on bug 881469, I wanted to remove the edit mode interface only _after_ the slide animation was done. The idea was to try to slide as soon as possible. However, I saw that the edit mode interfaces doesn't slide. We do have 2 different interfaces: one for messages and one for threads. None of them seems to slide.
