http://socorro.readthedocs.org/en/latest/populateelasticsearch.html still asks users to check out a development branch from Adrian's fork. Since it's been such an advance for us and our users it would be good to get it updated for the folks maintaining external installs.
Once we're off hbase and can offer a simpler setup we should have more users looking to update and ES will make a big difference for them.

Was this resolved by https://github.com/mozilla/socorro/pull/2203?
I do not know if ES dumps are still required per the documentation. If not, that information should be removed.

Nope, this requires a lot more work from me, to explain how to actually configure elasticsearch and turn on the various features around it. It's on my list for this quarter!
