Android users cannot correct email addresses in Android sign up flow

Details
Android users are getting stuck mid-way through the sync account creation process due to an incorrect email address. To reproduce, simply sign in to sync with a new account email address, and try to correct the email address in product. I can't find a place/way to do so in the Sync settings, while you can easily "forget this email" in Desktop.
You also can't correct this issue in https://account.services.mozilla.com because the account is unverified. This is made worse because logging in with an unverified account results in an error page rather than any kind of helpful/specific error message. Happy to provide further help/user feedback if needed.
