Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:0.9.4+) Gecko/20010922 BuildID: 2001092206 If you drag the icon left of the location bar and drag it into the toolbar bookmark folder, mozilla gets irresponsive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Have an open page 2.Drag the bookmark-icon (left of URL) to the toolbar bookmark folder 3.Wait till the folder has opened 4.Try to drop the bookmark onto an existing (below 'Mozilla Project') Actual Results: Mozilla gets into a strange state of irresponsivness. (Hoover over effects still work, doesn't react on anything). Seems to try to load the bookmark you hover over. Expected Results: Should add bookmark. Occured also on 20010915 build.
WFM Win98 20010921 Reporter, could you try a new profile and see if it still happens? Sometimes bookmark files get corrupted.
Tried a new profile, same problem, even if there aren't any bookmarks below 'Mozilla Project'. Linux only problem?
This bug is not Linux only. I'm using FreeBSD and there is same bug. When I drag icon from location bar, and if mouse pointer touches bookmark, Mozilla becomes irresponsive. You don't have to wait till the folder open to repeat this bug, just touching bookmark will trigger this bug.
