Steps to reproduce:

Actual results:

Hello,

I Was reading an Article about Firefox when misunderstanding won me.. Firefox will introduce DRM by Default.. At first, I thought it was a joke, unfortunately it seems that this heresy becomes reality in the near future...

What's happening to Mozilla? Why did they chose to turn their backs on open source? Most of users, like myself have chosen Firefox because it was an open source project. Great Community of users, developers and contributors. They made Firefox. With them Firefox has grown, and became a great Project. A real Alternative to closed browsers, a real way of life..

Unfortunately, it seems that the Firefox team have adopted a new way of thinking. Firefox gradually began to copy Google Chrome as Australis interface, but it still ok since it continued to be friendly with Open source Community.

If The Firefox's team introduces DRM, This will mean one thing, Firefox no longer respects its users, who have chosen Firefox as a free and Open Browser. Mozilla foundation must to know that the main base of Firefox are open source concerned.

If the Goal is to make more money, with arrangements with third Parties, at the expense of users, The mozilla's team must be clear. If it s the case, lots of users like me are not sheep panurge, and we will find a new browser that will be respectful of its users..

If the goal of Mozilla is becoming a new Google Chrome, Internet Explorer.. Maybe the better choice is to stop the development of Firefox, and receive money for participating in the dev of another browser from a company. Is it the End of Firefox?

We don't want a clone to a commercial product, full off copyrighted and closed software, otherwise we would have chosen another Browser.

If you really introduce DRMs inside Firefox, I will very disappointed and be sure that I will remove Firefox on all pcs where I'll find it and I ll replace by a real free and open source browser, like Midori or other. And i ll never come back...

Respect and be grateful for what the open source community (NDLR : and users community too) has provided. Without it, firefox would not exist without it and Firefox will have no future.

Most people are using Firefox, because it's free and open source, else they have already chosen a commercial product.
