As Jbuck mentioned in his comment in another bug, this is good for using Heroku.

If you already know how to set an app up on Heroku, you can do so on a personal account and then transfer it over to us.  If not, we can work on this together today cade.

I'm familiar with heroku app creation and deployment. Not so familiar with setting up custom domains for them though. I should be able to create the app directly in the mozilla heroku account though, as I should have sufficient permissions to do so.

This is all setup and transferred to MoFo's Heroku.  We're getting the SSL cert here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1013400

Right now this is just "staging", cade let me know when we want prod infrastructure/DNS/monitoring.
