frank says we fixed a similar problem for the cbs website but
we also need to deal with the invalid charset=3DUTF-16 that
gets sent in the mail messages from this site.
right now I'm missing critical market updates from cbs... ;-)

this will have the effect of looking like a regression if we don't get it
fixed for N62.

could this be fixed with an additional charset alias for 3DUTF-16? I'll try
that today or tomorrow.

no... the problem is we need to IGNORE "UTF-16" as charset if it come from a
source which CANNOT be UTF-16.

I don't think this IS a regression. Use your N6.1 to look at the same mail. you
probably will see the SAME garbage there.
It is a regression from their html generator.

Chris, can you read cbs market report with today's build?
The mail you attached to this report doesn't show on the thread pane after I
downloaded to my local mail folder.

yes, I can read all the cbs market watch mail now.. ;-)
I did have one problem. the first time I went looking for
all the old messages I did a search | search messages | subject = CBSand got a
list of messages in my inbox to check.
The first message that I clicked on resulted in a crash with
the stack trace listed below. I went back and tried the same
steps and could not reproduce.. It seems like I may have hit
a random failure. I'd say this bug is fixed unless anyone
sees anything interesting in the stack trace below.
