from the home page of the www.cnn.com website I am unable to view the following:
<a href="/2001/US/09/24/gen.america.under.attack/"><img
src="http://a388.g.akamai.net/f/388/21/1d/www.cnn.com/images/0109/top.ashcroft.ap.jpg"
alt="image" width="280" height="170" border="0" vspace="0"></a>
There is a white space left for this image and it is available as "view image"
but not as part of the web page.
This is one example that I have seen of this problem.
I use cnn.com because I have seen it on a number of different days with
approximately the same layout.
wfm with win2k build 20010924..

Reporter: Are you blocking images from other pages ?
edit/preferences/Privacy&Security/Images/"Accept Images that come from the
orginating server only"

BTW: Which build are you using (Please include in every bug report the build ID)

This needs to be recalled.
The bug was an incorrect setting in the Preferences -> Privacy & Security ->
Images -> Image Acceptance & Policy.
If you set this to anything but "Accept all images" you can duplicate this "bug".
Status: RESOLVED → CLOSED
recalled == reopen, which is the opposite of Closing.
Status: CLOSED → UNCONFIRMED
Resolution: WORKSFORME → ---
I think what the reporter meant was that he had set prefs to reject some images
so the bug was invalid.
