From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010924 Netscape6/6.2 BuildID: 2001924 When opening image properties by double clicking on the image a side menu also pops. This only happens if you double click where the properties window opens. However you can not reopen this side menu by double clicking on the image properties window itself. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open document/blank page in composer 2.Insert image 3.double click on image (where the image properties window opens) Actual Results: A side menu with editing options opens on top of image properties. Expected Results: I would expect only one area to open, either the editing side menu or the image properties window.
Summary: Side menu pops when opening image properties by double cklicking → Side menu pops when opening image properties by double clicking
WorksForMe using Mac2001092813. Reporter, can you still reproduce using a recent nightly? (Note that there does seem to be another problem with this build in that the Image Properties dialog opens in odd places on the screen and jumps around if you toggle between More Properties and Fewer Properties, but that isn't the problem described herein.)
Confirmed on 9-28 Trunk build. What's happening is the context click is being displayed when the image properties are invoked by double-clicking an image. Normally this menu would be accessed by hold control and clicking on the properties window. It only happens the first time I double-click an image to access properties.

Don't see problem in Winows. This is a Mac-specific event problem.

I don't see this on Mac 9.2 now... Either that or I don't know what a side menu is, it looks like a context menu popus up on OS X, is that what you meant?

I am still seeing this problem. Most recently on OS 9.1 using build 2001112604. And yes, the context menu is what we are talking about.
Regarding Comment 2, I am able to reproduce this multiple times in a single instance by double clicking in the same exact spot. Steps to Reproduce (OS X, build 2001121004) 1.Open navigator 2.Open Composer 3.Click on Image. 4.Click on Choose File 5.Choose a file from the hard-disk and click on okay. 6.Move the mouse to the upper left corner of the image (you just need to be in that quadrant area, not necessarily directly on the corner) 7.Double click. Image Properties windows comes up and so does the contextual menu.
Summary: Side menu pops when opening image properties by double clicking → [Mac]context menu appears when opening any properties by double clicking
Should this really be EDITORBASE? My vote is no...
