Steps to reproduce:

This is a UX issue that I noticed on flatfish tablet:

* open any app
* slide from bottom edge (slowly) to try to get to home screen


Actual results:

* while I am sliding, I don’t see any visual feedback (until I lift my finger off tablet)


Expected results:

* As soon as I start sliding from the bottom edge, I expect to see some visual feedback to show me that my slide is being registered
* I should be able to slide back to the edge if I change my mind midway
* Once passed certain threshold, user intention to go to homescreen will be clear, so the transition animation can be played to hide the current app and show the home screen

I tried with some real users, handing them the tablet with an app open, and they could not figure right away how to get out of the app

I think the important issue here is that the current interaction to get to homepage is not only confusing to the user, but it also makes the tablet seem unreasonably slow and unresponsive

The gesture to home feature in flatfish is primitive right now. It would be totally great that the gesture comes with visual feedback in the middle of operation. We will be sure to add this detail into the design of new home screen for tablet.

Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
