User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140506152807
Steps to reproduce:
Sign in to Google Plus and Hangouts. Do Not sign out of Hangouts. Close Firefox 29. Open it up again. Go to Google Plus.
Actual results:
The page freezes. Becomes unresponsive. After a minute you see this error.
Warning a unresponsive script.
A script on this page is busy or has stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Expected results:
You should be able to go to Google Plus and use Hangouts without Firefox freezing up or becoming unresponsive. This only occurs if you sign into Hangouts. If you don't use Hangouts you will never have this issue. I will upload a screenshot of the error message.

Please check if the issue occurs using Firefox in safe mode (with your addons disabled):
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
And on a new, empty profile:

> Sign in to Google Plus and Hangouts.
Do you mean to "Start a video Hangout" ?
I can't reproduce on FF 29.0.1, Win 7 x64

You do not need to do anything else but sign in to Hangouts. I am using Win 8.1 update 1 x64. Win 8.1 might be the issue I do not know. I understand you can not reproduce it. If you find anyone else having the same issue just tell them to sign out of Hangouts and restart Firefox. This is a annoying issue but not one that I am going to focus a lot of time on. I wanted to bring this to some ones attention and it did. So thank you for your feedback and Have a great day.

I believe I have resolved this issue myself. I believe this to be a mouse issue. If you go into TOOLS>OPTIONS>ADVANCED>BROWSING uncheck "use autoscrolling" and uncheck "use smooth scrolling" the issue is resolved. This could also be the reason you could not duplicate the problem. These boxes may have been already uncheck in your browser. They were automatically checked in mine. I had to manually uncheck these boxes. The issue has been resolved.
Thank you for your feedback
