1018858 - Tapping a letter in the scrollbar selects a contact in an unrelated position

Sometimes (most of the time for me) when tapping on a letter in the letter scrollbar in the contacts screen taps on a contact instead of scrolling to that letter in the list. It even taps a contact that is nowhere close to where the user tapped.

How to reproduce:
- Populate Contacts app with several contacts, preferably enough to have scrolling.
- Tap on a letter in the Contacts screen scrollbar.

Expected:

- The list scrolls to the first contact with that letter

Actual:

- A random contact is tapped and we get into the contact detail screen.

Tested on a Flame with build e98fe1e9

I think this is happening somehow in high density devices, there is a threshold and could be affecting in that calculation. For devices like hamachi is working fine for me.
