Steps to reproduce:
I've updated to Firefox version 29.1 from version 29. Then I deleted browser history of today's browsing. But the history is still showing when I press Ctrl+H. It shows the pages I've visited today even I've deleted them.
Actual results:
History not deleted.
Expected results:
Browsing history should be deleted.

I vaguely recall a mention of something like this not being applied immediately due to Places working asynchronously (and hence a bug like this was closed).
