User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140506152807

Steps to reproduce:

Looked for a license text that states under which terms the GeckoView component may be used in other projects

Actual results:

Found no license text; neither on the GeckoView project website, nor inside the downloaded Eclipse source project packages

Expected results:

The website and/or the archives should have contained a license text
Which project specifically? The GeckoView component is part of the Mozilla's Gecko platform and should be covered by the MPL license. Do you mean the GeckoBrowser example project I have on Github?
OK, sorry for the confusion. I didn't know that GeckoView is really just a part of the Gecko project and that the terms of that project automatically apply to GeckoView too.

GeckoView has been mentioned in some articles, and I suppose that there are more people like me around now that just google the name and then head straight to the GeckoView project page, looking for a quick and easy, but more capable drop-in replacement for Android's standard WebView.

To me the GeckoView project page resembled those of many other standalone projects such as those on sourceforge or elsewhere, with its own introduction, download section, and nightly builds ... I was just wondering which license might apply, since the page doesnt name any.
Move some old bugs with `[geckoview]` in their summary to the GeckoView Bugzilla component.
