After connecting to a wifi network, the tablet FTE should use ntp to set the clock, rather than expecting the user to do so manually.

This is important to streamline first run, but if the users doesn't set the clock in the current work flow the ongoing experience is affected. E.g. the clock defaults to 1970, and launching the marketplace results in an SSL error page because the cert isn't valid yet.

¡Hola Ralph!

Did you also notice that the 1st time a city is picked it doesn't seem to be retained?

Is that the same bug or a different one?

Pasting what I wrote in bug 1006199

Currently, I'm on mountain time. Wifi connected to before moving to next step.
Currently this is what is being shown when you visit the screen:
America
New York
2014-09-02
11:56 AM

When you tap the change button, the following occurs:
Date: Date auto switches to Sept. 1, 2014

Side note: by changing the city you are in, the display time does not change, however, tapping on the "change" button, the time auto changes.

^A new bug should be opened if not already for the above mentioned.
For some odd reason, the settings I made during set-up did not take effect.
City picker not updating the display was bug 1049790. If it's also ignoring the setting after the first-run experience exits, that's a new bug.

City picker still does not seem to be working on the 20140912 build from our vendor. Time is also being set wrong with AM/PM.

Date picker however seems to work. I will need to double check.

Clearing ni? All checks out to be okay.

Closing. I don't think anyone is maintaining flatfish any more.
