I've had this happen every now and then on random pages. I can 'fix' this problem by turning OMTC off. I believe there are other similar bug reports concerning corruption caused by OMTC enabled. Possibly it's a video card and driver issue. Here's my specs:

:streetwolf, your problem seems to be different from this, because this problem happens regardless of OMTC setting.
Could you file a new bug, please.

I can't actually reproduce this. :-(

I can't reproduce on either win8 or win7. Alice, any idea of any settings or anything else that might be relevant for reproducing this? Can you reproduce all the time or is it intermittent?

Oh, and are there any errors in the browser console for you when this happens?

You should right click toolbox and uncheck Menu Bar, during transition of exiting Customize mode.
(transition of exiting Customize mode is very slow due to high CPU usase).
Maybe this is a timing issue....
No error message.

Ah, this was not obvious to me. Now I can reproduce. I'll try to look into what's going on here.

I would imagine that removing the customize mode transition and the recent update in bug 1356920 means this should be gone on current nightlies. Alice, can you confirm?

No longer reproduce the problem on 60esr, 63, 64 and Nightly65.
Let's close as WFM.
