I can install the app at http://skinny-grip-416.appalot.me/install.html on both my Samsung Galaxy SIII with Fennec beta, and my Open C running FFOS_US_EBAY_OPENCV1.0.0B03 Tapping on the green button makes fireworks show up in the black pane. Those fireworks are fast and smooth on the Open C, and quite sluggish on the GSIII.
What does the performance look like if you watch the fireworks directly in the browser on the GSIII?
Same performance on firefox beta.

It would be great if somebody could debug the problem using the steps described at https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/Performance/App_Performance_Validation (that's for Firefox OS, but there are analagous things you can do on Fennec). That would help narrow down the problem.
