Attachment: Homescreen with no icons

When killing an app that is active (in the foreground), upon returning to the homescreen there are no icons, only the text below the icon is displayed.

This issue only applies to killing an app that is in the foreground. Killing an app while the homescreen is in the foreground does not result in the icons disappearing.

STR:

* While on homescreen, tap on an application, e.g., gallery.
* While in gallery, hold down 'home' button and close gallery
* You are brought to homescreen where there are no icons. See attached screen shot.

Possible issue with the buri, maybe it's running out of memory?

Was reported also in bug 1023796, so going to dupe against that and reopen.
