Sometimes I want to right click a message and just delete it, because I'm sure it is spam. It would be nice if I could right click a message that is currently not being displayed, and delete it without opening it.
This should be marked wontfix. This would be a very confusing usability "feature". Imagine selecting a message and not having it display in the preview pane. Sure it works for deleting, but if you just right click on the message, it would get highlighting but not appear in the preview pane. If someone wanted to reply to a message, which message would they reply to? The one being shown in the preview area, or the one highlighted? I think the solution would be to run without the preview pane. then you'd have to double click to open a message. If you right clicked then, you could delete the message without viewing it.
Acatually..dup of bug 30560. A right-click shouldn't perform the additional task a left-click does. A right-click should only bring up a context menu. (Compare to what happens when right-clicking a link in browser for instance) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 30560 ***
