User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140614172503 Steps to reproduce: I removed the ~/.mozilla directory in order to start with a fresh profile. Then I went to the following URL address: http://www.wikihow.com/Change-Your-Snapchat-User-Name. Actual results: Memory usage for the Firefox process rapidly started increasing. The only way to prevent Firefox from using all available memory was to close the tab with the website specified before. After this operation Firefox's memory usage remained stable but at a very high value (several gigabytes). Closing Firefox entirely was to only way to free this memory.

Please enter the address "about:memory?verbose" (with a lower-case "v") in the address bar and attach (using the "Add an attachment" link above) the output here.
If I go to "about:memory?verbose" no output is shown, apart from a series of buttons. I guess I have to manually click the "Measure" button. But should I also select the "verbose" option? And when I should take these informations? While memory leak is going on or after having stopped it? I have no experience at debugging Firefox, and this is the first bug I file...

(In reply to Francesco Turco from comment #4) > Can't reproduce this anymore with Firefox 31.0. Can anyone confirm? So I'll close this.
