I use Readermode a lot on my phone, and find many pages where the byline information is quite lengthy, requiring me to scroll quickly to get to the content / part I wish to read.

I wonder if we can provide (as an option for bylines that exceed some threshold size) a clickable / toggle to expand / shrink the displayed byline. (This would be shrunk / minimized by default).

In the attached screenshot the leftmost two shots illustrate the issue on GS3 and N7, as it exists.

The rightmost two shots show what the shrunk-by-default and expanded versions might look like.

I think the patch in bug 881091 fixes this issue. I wonder why it hasn't landed yet.

mmmm ... didn't realize that was the same field involved ... I just tested and that patch works quite nicely ! It actually finds what looks like more-correct content :-)
