The header font is still not center aligned in the Messages app. The header fonts are now correctly center aligned in other apps like Contacts, so I'm guessing this is an issue specifically with the Messages header.
I'm seeing this issue in today's master build (June 17, 2014), on a flame device.

This is an intended behaviour. The 'Messages' title wouldn't fit here, so it's get centered on the relative available space and not on the screen.
