Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.77 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.4.2-2 i686) BuildID: I'm running Ximian for my desktop & each time i try & open Mozilla i get the message "the program must close to allow a previous installation attempt to complete. Please restart." And no matter how many times i restart i still get the message. It worked fine for me sunday night for a little bit then it started to give me this message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Log in as root or user 2.Connect to the internet 3.try & open Mozilla, message pops up that i need to restart Actual Results: Mozilla refused to open Expected Results: open up & go to my home page
Did you try to instal Java? If so, this is a duplicate of bug 84896 That bug was verified fixed this morning (Oct 2) So if you try the latest nightly build, I think the bug will be gone.
Adrian, what build are you using? Is this still a problem with recent builds?
marking dup for technical K.O. of reporter. If you're still alive and with this problem in recent builds, please tell us :) I'll resolve it as dup of 84896, although it may be not the correct one. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 84896 ***
