Loading Jonathan's Gecko Emoji demo page, the browser becomes quite unresponsive. Switching to the tab that has that page open takes about 3s.
I think you'll find this is the same issue as bug 925651. (If a profile confirms it's spending huge amounts of time in filter code, we can dupe this.)
