Hello some of the text is hard to read for the Firefox for affiliate site

I haven't exhaustively tested the site, but from what I can tell, almost all of the site passes the WCAG AA, with the notable exception being the white text on orange background. Every other color combination I found passed when I checked with http://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/

Most of the site doesn't pass WCAG AAA. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the standards to know if we want to re-do the images and such on the site to pass that or if the AA level is fine. icaaq, any guidance on that?

satdav: Are there any areas besides the white text on orange background that you think should be changed? The rest seem to pass color contrast testing.

I can't see any big issues on this site.

Satdav: can you specify where/why the text is hard to read? is it contrast or font or something else :)

I don't see an issue with the screenshots provided. Given that, icaaq's agreement, and the fact that our contrast is measurably sufficient according to a11y guidelines, I'm going to decline making a color change.

satdav: If you have a suggestion for colors to replace the existing ones with, or if the issue was more than just color, feel free to post them and we can reconsider, but I think the colors aren't an issue here. Sorry, but thanks for the report!

it was just to try and make the text bold I know John is trying to work on the style guide to make the colours a bit better for Mozilla sites

Thanks satdav for you feedback and ideas -- I would suggest that once there are a finalized set of practices we revisit this issue. Until then I suggest we close the bug per comment 2 and comment 5.
