Details
Reproducible on:
Firefox 31 beta 2 - 20140619131915
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0
latest Aurora 32.0a2 - 20140620004003
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
latest Nightly 33.0a1 - 20140620030201
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the mp4 video file http://techslides.com/demos/sample-videos/small.mp4
2. Toggle the play/pause buttons, change volume, enter/exit fullscreen mode
Actual results:
The volume bar doesn't remain open when clicked -
The last button on the controls bar (full screen on others OSX systems) doesn't toggle anything.
Expected results:
Volume can be easily modified. Video can be played in full screen mode.
Notes: 1. The issue reproduces on Firefox 17.0.1 so it's not a recent regression.
2. On Mac OSX 10.7 and later the mp4 video format has another look.

On Mac OSX 10.8.5 with Firefox 30.0 and 31.0, I could click the volume icon and change it if I kept the cursor hovering over the volume bar. It disappears if I move the mouse away.
The full screen button did work for me, though.

We haven't shipped MP4 support on MacOSX, so this must be some sort of issue with a plugin you have installed.

I have QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.6 installed. When it is disabled and I open a mp4 video file, "Open with" dialog box is shown.
Component: Video/Audio → Plug-ins

We don't track quicktime bugs here. They need to be filed with Apple.
