Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140620030201
Steps to reproduce:
Imported all my contacts from GMail and then imported some contacts from Facebook. Went on to set favorites and link social network profiles.
Actual results:
Something went wrong and the contacts from Facebook were messed. All contacts that were from Facebook or linked with FB profiles became unresponsive on the contact list. Taping on a contact would not bring up the contact detail, it would just select the list item and do nothing.
Since there is no way to do bulk operations on contacts such as "delete all contacts" or some edit view on the contact list that would allow me select some contacts for removal, I was forced to do a hard reset on the phone losing everything because there was no way to reset only the contacts database.
Expected results:
There should be a way in all core apps to remove all database records and begin again. Without this we're forced to reset the whole phone if something goes wrong with a core app. This happened to me with the Contacts app on a Flame running 1.3.
