User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140605174243 Steps to reproduce: SOMETIMES after restart Firefox some of my tabs are empty with the icon of the site. Actual results: When I click on the empty tab with the icon, is exactly when I open a new tab, and after I click the icon disappear. Expected results: After restart Firefox my tabs should have the address of the site.
I wasn't able to reproduce the issue with latest Nightly 33.0a1 (buildID: 20140625030206) on Mac OSX 10.9.2. Could you please try safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode ? And with a new profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles ?

When I was using Pentadactyl (an extension) and Firefox 30.0 Beta and then 30.0, sometimes at least tabs wouldn't restore after a restart, but instead disappear when I activate them. I think restarting Firefox helped, so it may have been after a crash (when normal session restore and recovery after crash worked in one session). I blamed Pentadactyl and haven't seen the problem since I stopped using it.
