When an app calls mozLockOrientation the orientation of the app and the location of the edge gestures are locked to a specific configuration (portrait, landscape...) In some scenarios, like the camera app in gaia, an app wants to respond to device rotations while keeping the orientation locked at the window level. The orientation of the UI will be managed in the application and we want the edge gestures to rotate consistently. We need an API to unlock edge gestures so they will respond to the device motion while the app container remains locked.
