The implementation of view-source is a self-acknowledged hack by its author,
rickg. Rick, do we have plans on re-designing the view-source implementation
any time soon. I'm assigning this to you and putting myself on the cc list.
When I started view-source, it was a hack, but the parsing engine support for it
is totally legit now. The only thing hacky is where we get the document. Yes,
it's a document reload, because it needs to be a view of the doc before all
runtime affects occur.
My question is this: once the cache is hooked up, why do we care that it's a
reload?
