Stickers have been designed in Bug 677850 for every Mozilla Space. They are very nice, but it’s unclear who holds the copyright for them and what kinds of usage is allowed. It’d be nice to have them published somewhere with an explicit license, possibly one of the Creative Commons family. Specifically, I’d like make a logo for the London Rust meetup based on both the Mozilla London space sticker and the Rust logo. Is this kind of derivative use allowed? (The status of the Rust logo is being discussed at https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/11562 )
Hi Simon. Thanks for asking. Let me check with our legal team on this and I'll get back to you.

Hi Simon. Thinking about this a little more, those stickers were really designed to be very specific for each Mozilla Space, so I'm not sure that they're the best source for remixing or using for other purposes. Am inclined to keep them for the Spaces only. That said, we can consider options on a case-by-case basis. What did you have in mind for this one?

John, I was thinking of something like the attached image (perhaps with "Rust London" instead of the "mozilla spaces" text), for http://www.meetup.com/Rust-London-User-Group/ But now that I think about it, it may not be such a good idea to tie so strongly this event with the space. The first (and so far only) occurrence only happened to have been hosted there. And Rust itself is not branded as a Mozilla project. Still, even if the answer is "no modification, use only to refer to the respective MozSpace", it would be good to clarify how these images can be used.
Hi Simon. I think your "no modification, use only to refer to the respective MozSpace" description sounds right.
