Details
The table rows with the dark background color and the 1x1 gif
dont get rendered with
1 pixel height like requested, but with much more. Netscape 4.x and
IE 5.5 both show this correctly. This gets always rendered incorrectly,
independent of the doctype declaration.
Tried with build 2001100321/linux but this has been here for a long time.

That page uses a strict-mode-invoking doctype, causing images to be properly
rendered according to the CSS inline box model. (see bug 22274 for details.)
Setting style="display:block;" on the images will remove them from the inline
box model and you'll get the expected cell height.
