Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140605174243

Steps to reproduce:

When trying to use a BNC like ZNC, ChatZilla wont let me connect to the same server multiple times, in order to connect to all of my networks. For ZNC, the user names contain the network to connect to, i.e. Foo/Net1 and Foo/Net2 would connect to ZNC using user Foo to networks Net1 and Net2.

Actual results:

ChatZilla only opened one connection, thinking it would be the same server.

Expected results:

ChatZilla should give you an option to either let you set the username in the "Global Settings/Startup" tab or to let you connect anyways.
You are correct, this is a current limitation.

You can work around this by using wildcard DNS on your bouncer - which works but is not ideal.

You can specify the username in startup URLs like so:
ircs://moznet.znc.example.com/,needpass?pass=Glenjamin/moznet:ajkdghsdjhfgds

You might also be able to trick chatzilla into connecting to the server separately by creating networks with different names that have the same server inside. You can generate a networks.txt file with the tool at http://glenjamin.co.uk/chatzilla/networks/ . I have not tried this approach, so I cannot make any guarantees about whether it will work.
