Sorry for the delay in responding to your request. I think it is great to automatically generate a community members page.

There are two options for how to do this - let me know which option you would like or if you have any questions.

1. By using a "vouched" API key, you will soon be able to access data through the Mozillians API that Mozilla contributors have marked as public (bug 1011220).

2. The other option is to get a "reviewed" API key, which will also give you access to Mozillians-only information. Since this uses Mozillians-only information, you will need to follow the Mozillians.org API data guidelines if you choose this option.

If you want to display public data only, I can create a 'vouched' API key for you right away. Once bug 1011220 is resolved, you will be able to access and display public information.

If you want an API key with access to profile information, please answer these questions for our "reviewed" API key process:

    Name of your app
    App URL
How you plan to use the API
Justification for needing a "reviewed" API key

One aspect of review is that your application must be managed by the Mozilla Corporation. This means...

Running on Mozilla infrastructure in a Mozilla datacenter (proof: link to bug about standing it up there or webserver headers)
Satisfying Mozilla's current data security, data privacy and legal standards for web applications. Proof: link to project review bug or to reviewers we can contact.

Another aspect of review is that you understand the Mozillians.org API data guidelines, per-field privacy levels, agree to abide by them and agree to perpetuate them. Proof: conversation with application reviewer that satisfies the reviewer.

Hi William,

The public data is enough. I think we'll go for "vouched API", thanks!
Irvin, thanks! I have created your vouched API key and sent it to you by email. Once bug 1011220 is resolved, you will be able to access public profile information. At the moment, your API key can only be used to check if an email address belongs to a vouched Mozillian.
