Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140605174243 Steps to reproduce: - Open two tabs with content (e.g. two Wikipedia pages). - On the second tab, copy some text "e.g. 'text copied'" - On the first tab, press Cmd-F (Find) and type "text to find" - On the first tab, press Cmd-V (Paste) to paste. What SHOULD be pasted is "text copied", but what is actually pasted is "text to find". Actual results: It appears that the Find command is replacing the text in the Mac OS clipboard. Expected results: The Find command should have left the Mac OS clipboard alone. This problem is new in version 30 for Mac. It was not present in previous versions.
May be a duplicate of bug 1020743.
Yes. Good find. This is resolved in Firefox 31 which will be released in 3 to 4 weeks.
