Set some style, such as bold, for a word or so in a sentence. Select the sentence such that the bold word is inside the selection, but the endpoints of the selection are NOT in the bold text. From the Format menu, use "Remove All Styles". The bold text should be changed back to normal, but it doesn't. If one of the selection endpoints is in the selected text, or the selection exactly encompasses the bold text, the bold attribute is removed.
